Core class emphasizes strength and stability. We will focus on improving your stabilization of the pelvis, low back and shoulders. There will be plenty of exercises that will target your core as well as strengthen your gluts, hamstrings, lower traps, pects and triceps. Balls, wobble boards, sit-fits, Bosu balls, the Fitter, stones, medicine balls, and elastic tubing will provide plenty of entertainment and challenges.

The functional strengthening class is a fun, dynamic, all encompassing and VERY intense workout that will last an hour. Following a good warm up, you will move through multiple stations performing as many repetitions as possible with as much weight as you can safely lift. Exercises are functional, multi-joint and will change from week to week.
As with any fitness program, success hinges on commitment and motivation. You must be prepared to give all your effort for each class. A class format can be fun and motivating.
