SPIN CLASS 2012!

And so we continue…..Spin Class 2012!

We have packs of cyclists signed up for some big races for the 2012 season.  This session is designed to carry your current fitness level over and lay the foundation for the upcoming season.

The class is suitable for all levels of cycling; everyone is the same speed on a trainer.  We will start with the basics, working on some pedal mechanics and cadence work. The class will begin with tempo rides, strength and endurance sets and hill simulation. We will wrap up each class with ~10 minutes of cycling-specific stretches.

WHEN:   Tuesday, January 10, 2012 to February 28, 2012 for 90 minutes of fun on the trainer, riding hard and going nowhere at all!  Yes, that is right, 8 weeks!!

WHERE:   Classes will be held at Bragg Creek Community Center in the meeting rooms on the North side of the building, from 6:30-8:00 PM

FEE:   $125 for the 8 class session

WHAT YOU NEED:   Your own bike and stationary trainer, a water bottle, food/fuel, and small towel.

AND…COMMITMENT!

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the class to go ahead, maximum of 20.  If you can’t commit to the entire session, the drop price is $20/class (cash) due prior to the commencement of the class.
